No. Our products are expensive by nature as explained. We at JST have devoted our lives to healing, reviving, rejuvenating and curing one single person at a time. Usually our patients who complete our recommended treatments with appropriate discipline in diet and lifestyle end up feeling so much better, healed, cured, and grateful, that they whole-heartedly devote themselves by way of time, money, space, etc. They share and spread our knowledge and good work. Such gratitude-filled contributions from our patients are all the profit we ever need and are looking for. By resurrecting one human being at a time, we impact their families, social circles, and the world as whole. There can be no bigger profit/ margin than that.
44. Do you use eco-friendly or recyclable packaging for your products?
Not yet. In order to maintain freshness and purity of our products we still rely on plastic and other such packaging material. We continue to discover safer and safer alternatives everyday that can maintain the freshness and purity of your supplements and still be eco-friendly and safe for our environment. We also have to use plastic wrappers/ aluminium foils in some of our packaging, but as we keep researching new techniques and options. We expect this to change in the future.
45. Why there is no date written on your medicines?
JST supplements are all best once opened. "Best by" or "expiration date" should be counted from date opened. Typically our herbal medicines don’t go bad. for several months if kept away from moisture, heat and wide fluctuations in temperature. Typically we advise liquids to be consumed within 1-2 months of opening and tablets/ capsules within 4-6 months. Make sure you don't touch the medicines with wet fingers. If the container is kept shut continuously then they will last much longer. However if the supplements are custom-made for you then we advise consuming them within 3 months from the date they were made. Also since we don’t have any retailers/ commercial distribution we don’t put a manufacturing date on it.
46. Why don’t you write Expiry date on your medicines?
Because no one expires from our medicines. When a patient comes to us we keep constant contact with them and provide ongong consultation and followups. Our trained experts keep changing the formulations as needed. Our supplements anyway do not have a very long shelf life. Whenever we dispense our supplements we advise the patient about the expiration date of their specific customized supplements.
47. Why don’t you write formula and ingredients of your medicines on bottles?
It has been our experience that some people read ingredients and try to make the supplements at home by themselves. This has resulted in a lot of damage to their health. So we discontinued writing ingredients on our labels. Besides those that indicate ingredients on their labels are only telling the half truth. For e.g Pig oil is being sold as permitted flavors and colors. Your health is being played with and you don’t realize it. SLS in shampoos causes itching, allergies, cancer, damage to the eyes. Paraffin used in oils is damaging to scalp. Besides this many chemicals in packaged foods and cosmetics are not even declared on the label. Such licensed formulations no better than slow poison.
Besides we believe that faith goes a long way in healing. The less you know about the medicine you are taking the more benefit you will derive from it.
48. Why there is no drug licence number on your medicines? OR
Why your medicines are not FDA approved?
Drug license means making your drugs per their rules and regulations. Drug license increases prices for products tremendously. e.g. a 10Rs product is sold for Rs 100 after licensing. These manufacturers compromise quality for license. We don’t compromise quality. When you purchase food from hawkers, eat at your neighbor’s place, or buy vegetables from roadside vendors, you do not ask them for a license. Our products do not need a license because we do not sell commercially to wholesalers, retailers or distributors. We provide individualized treatment to each patient with good faith.
It is the tendency of original, pure, natural, things to change with time. For e.g original ghee will show a lot of variations in color, consistency, taste etc. with each batch. But in order to get a license manufacturers are required to add all kinds of chemicals, preservatives etc. to keep their products unchanged and unspoiled for weeks and months together. Products are injected, modified and beautified with chemicals for increase sales. So stale things alone can stand to get a license, not fresh products made to last only a short limited period of time. For e.g. when you visit a temple and accept Prasad, (holy food offered to God) there is no license for it. There is no license for fresh coconut water. Can the taste of fresh coconut water right out of the coconut and one that comes out of a can, be compared? You can get license for bread but not for roti.
After spending so much money on licensing etc when manufacturers are still required to sell their products at a reasonable competitive price, they have to compromise quality. For e.g compare a store-bought pomegranate juice and JeevanSanjeevani Pomegranate juice. You will find a world of difference in the taste and quality.
All our supplements are fresh and by the time they get checked and analysed for quality etc. these things are likely to go bad. Natural things won’t stay natural because it goes bad by time license is procured. In fact licensed food should be challenged because they are laced with harmful chemicals, colors and preservatives.
Generally unnatural products are being sold as natural. But we do not do that. Our products are not sold in any store. There is no license required for home-made food. That’s why we say homemade & handmade on our labels.
49. Why are your medicines very expensive?
As the population increases the cost of natural or herbal medicines is bound to increase. In the olden days or even few decades ago there was more farmland and forests. Now with increasing deforestation we have to travel about 25,000 Km or more from Mumbai to procure many of our herbs. Transportation of these herbs takes time and money. The more urgent the need the faster the medium used and higher the cost.
Commercially available products are heavily adulterated. Adulterated products are much cheaper than authentic ones. JeevanSanjeevani has authentic wild honey for Rs. 20,000. Compare that to the Rs. 200 honey available in the market. The difference in cost is due to the remarkable difference in quality. For e.g bottled water sells for Rs. 10 but tap water is free. Then imagine the cost of genuine medicine. E.g It would cost you Rs. 3000 to bath with Bisleri. (bottled water) You have to pay a higher price for superior quality.
However, our treatment packages are tailor-made for each individual based on their budget and financial constraints.
50. Are we duplicating the ingredients from OTC supplements that we have been taking and your supplements?
No. If you had got results from the OTC supplements from the market, you wouldn't be taking our supplements. Our supplements stimulate self-production of lacking nutrients in the system and heals the root cause in the system so there is no recurrence of the problem. Other supplements only control symptoms. Only thing should stand as a testimonial to the effectiveness of a medicine – results. Have you got the desired results from other supplements? Our supplements provide 100% results because each formulation is designed in certain ways to create a balance within each person’s unique system. There is no comparison between store-made mass-manufactured supplements and our customized, hand-made, natural supplements.
